Itinerary

Day 1: Johannesburg/Pretoria

You will be met by your Tour Guide at Oliver Tambo international Airport in Johannesburg. After freshening up and lunch at the hotel we will do an orientation tour of Pretoria. The capital founded by the Voortrekkers who migrated from the Cape with their ox wagons, carrying only the bare necessities.

Optional: Lesedi Cultural Village

Experience the ancient rhythms through traditional dancing and singing with the Zulu; Sotho; Xhosa; Phedi; and Ndebele people and enjoy a true African lunch or dinner.

This option would be taken instead of the Pretoria city orientation tour.

Day 2: Mpumalanga

Depart after breakfast from our Hotel in Pretoria. We head east into the Province of Mpumalanga, which means “Where the sun rises.”

• Chimp Eden tour while Chimpanzees are fed.

Day 3 Kruger National Park

We spend the day driving through the world renowned Kruger National Park.

Day 4 & 5: Private Game Lodge

On the private Game Lodge they have the big five as well as all the other animals of the African Bush. Breakfast, lunch and dinner at the boma around camp fire is all included. Two Game drives per day also included.

Day 7: Cape Town

Day 8: Cape Peninsula

Cape Peninsula and Stellenbosh winelands
Experience rugged coastlines and unspoilt beauty as you wind your way along the shores of the Cape Peninsula to the mythical meeting place of the two great oceans.

Day 9: Cape Town City Tour

We do an early morning orientation tour of the Mother City as we venture through streets crowded with history.
This tour includes an optional visit to Table Mountain

Day 10: Oudtshoorn

Depart from Cape Town towards the Garden route on Route 62. We pass many small villages and towns on this picturesque route.

Oudtshoorn is the ostrich capital of the World. Surrounded by mountains and nestled in the Little Karoo this is a true gem on the Garden Route.

• Port tasting in Calitz dorp.

Day 11: Oudtshoorn – Mosselbay

Day 12: Knysna

• Boat cruise on the Knysna Lagoon
• Close view of the entrance from the ocean to Knysna lagoon,
through the Knysna Heads.
• Featherbed nature reserve, only reachable by boat.

• Knysna Waterfront with many shops and craft Markets

Day 13: Tsitsikama Nature Reserve

Tsitsikama is an area characterized by large tracts of indigenous forests, deep river gorges and magnificent coastlines.

Day 14: Bon Voyage

• Stop at Waterfront for last minute shopping
• Drive to George where we catch a flight back to O.R.
Thambo International Airport.


Information:

• Tour will commence and end in Johannesburg.
• Guests will be accompanied by a Tour guide all the time
except for flights.
• 4* Accommodation provided except for one day in the Kruger
National Park.
